Tidewell

Private beta · 40 crews

Everybody knows where they’re working tomorrow.

Tidewell builds the week once, texts every person their start time and address the night before, and gets your crew off the group chat. Made for teams of three to thirty, not for a corporate floor plan.

  • Free for every crew in the beta
  • Set up in an afternoon, with your spreadsheet imported for you
  • Opens on the phone that is already in the truck

Everyone, every day, on one screen. Drag a block and the person working it hears about it.

Night before, 7:04 PM

Tomorrow you’re on at 7:00 AM, Riverside Apartments with Marcus. Reply Y to confirm or N if something changed.

Y

Confirmations come back to one list, so at 6:00 AM you already know who answered.

Beta, last 6 weeks

91%

of shifts confirmed by the crew before 7:00 AM, up from 38% in week one.

Why we built it

Three hours a week that nobody should be spending.

The schedule today

The schedule lives in a group chat, so the version somebody screenshots on Tuesday is the one they work from on Thursday.

With Tidewell

One published week that everybody opens on their phone. Change it once and the change is the schedule.

Sunday night today

You spend Sunday evening texting seven people to ask whether they are still good for Monday morning.

With Tidewell

Reminders go out on their own the night before. Replies land in one list, so by 6:00 AM you know who is covered.

The dropped shift today

Somebody cannot make Saturday, three people get asked in the wrong order, and the shift quietly goes uncovered.

With Tidewell

The open shift goes to everyone who can actually work it. First yes takes it, and you see it happen.

A tradesperson in protective gear working on a metal frame at a job site

The people using this are on a ladder at 7:00 AM. The software has to be finished before they are.

Written on the wall of the room we do not have, because we are remote.

Six things it does

Everything a small crew needs, and none of the rest.

All features

One week, one screen

Every person and every job site on a single week grid you can read in five seconds. Drag a shift, and the person working it hears about it before you close the laptop.

Reminders that get read

A text lands the night before with the start time, the address, and who else is on the job. Crews reply with one letter to confirm, so you know at a glance who is covered.

Swaps without the group chat

Someone puts a shift up, the people qualified for it get asked, and the first yes takes it. You approve or you let it run itself.

Availability you can trust

Each person sets the days they can work and the days they cannot. The grid warns you before you schedule somebody onto a day they already blocked off.

Hours, already added up

Clock in from the job site, not the shop. At the end of the week the hours are totaled by person and ready to hand to whoever runs payroll.

Built for a phone in a work glove

Big targets, high contrast, and it opens straight to today. No app store account and no training session, because a new hire has to figure it out on their first morning.

Pricing preview

Three plans, priced per shop.

The beta is free. These are the shapes the plans will take, and the numbers land before general release. Pricing at launch may change.

From the private beta

What the first 40 crews told us.

These quotes are placeholders. Replace them with real ones from your own users, with their permission, before you launch.

Sunday night used to be an hour of texting people to ask if they were still good for Monday. Now I publish the week on Friday and it is quiet until Monday morning.

The reminder text is the part that changed things. First morning nobody was late, and I did not have to call a single person to find out where they were.
Marcus T.landscape contractor, eleven crew, Cedar Bend, OH
I gave it to my crew leads on a Tuesday with no training. By Thursday two of them had built the next week themselves, which has never happened with anything else we tried.

Questions

Before you put your name down.

Something not covered here? Email hello@example.com and a person answers.

Is this ready to use today?

Not yet. We are in private beta with a small number of crews and we are opening seats in batches. Joining the waitlist puts you in the next batch we invite, and we will email you before anything changes.

What does it cost during the beta?

Nothing. Beta crews use the whole product free, and when we set launch pricing they get a full month on us to decide whether to stay. No card is needed to join the list.

Do my crew need to download anything?

No. They get a text with a link that opens their week in a browser. If they want it on their home screen they can add it in two taps, but nothing is required.

We already use a spreadsheet. Can we move what we have?

Yes. Send us the sheet during onboarding and we will import people, job sites and a starting week for you. Most shops are running on it the same afternoon.

What happens to our data if we stop using it?

You export everything as a plain file whenever you want, including while you are still on the beta. We do not sell data and we do not lock exports behind a plan.

Next batch of invites

Put your crew on the list before the next Friday batch.

One short form. We email you when your seat opens, and nothing else.
